Marcon

                 

Marcon is just a 10 minute drive from Les Aulnaies and is the ideal place for the family to relax; with manmade beach and  designated area for swimming. In the months of July and August the beach is supervised, as well as weekends in June and September. There is a kiosk to purchase food, drinks and ice creams, which is open in the summer months only.

 

Behind the beach is an extensive playground, with table tennis tables, climbing rock and public barbeque area. There are many picnic tables around the site.

     

 

Marcon also boasts a range of sporting activities, including; mini golf and pedaloes, both open in July and August from 1pm to 8pm for a small cost. There is also the opportunity to participate in tennis, sailing and archery. While fishing is available throughout the year. You may also hire canoes, wind surfers and boats or book for lessons at the sailing club.

 

Open every day throughout the year, there is a small entrance fee for anyone over 8 years old, at weekends in June and September and every day in July and August, (free admission during the rest of the year).

 

Every August there is an old and prestige car meeting with exhibitions, exchanges and events over the weekend.
