24 Hour Karting race

 

This is the biggest event of the karting season held on the Alain Prost track.

Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motor sport with small, open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or

gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the

stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports.

This year there are 45 teams competing.

Two of the teams will feature celebrity drivers who have raced over previous years and are past winners.
